I am a veteran tree planter. I have worked all through the coast and interior of BC, and in Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan. The devastation I have seen is unbelievable. One thing I do notice is that the trees do grow back, but never will be as big as the ancient old growth, as they will be cut again once they are around 80 yrs old. There has to bee a better way…

No where on the planet is man’s self hatred more obvious than in his ability to hurt trees. I have seen clear cutting on the farms beside my family farm in North Carolina. I have seen clear cutting all around the Olympic National Park. I cry each time a tree is hurt.

This is why I take people into Nature. I do Nature Workshops to bring peace to the body, love to the heart and sanity to the mind.

Another powerful video, Stim. Seeing the paltry donations to your project makes me sick at heart (I sent in a pittance, and will try to send more soon).

In the Pacific Northwest, the loggers leave a little ruffle of trees alongside the roads so the motorists won’t see the reality of the clear cuts.
