OK, everybody, relax! You’ll get more “It’s the End of the World As We Know It and I Feel Fine” soon. I know it’s been a while since the last episode, and believe me, there’s nothing I love more than doing the fucking show. However – the show don’t pay the bills! Yes, it is a labour of love (or maybe masochism). As it turns out, there’s a huge demand for the most cynical news show in the history of the world. So I say, give the people what they want!
For 2009, I’ve committed to four (4) segments independent of any donations or windfalls that come our way. But that number could grow! Every donation, every DVD, and every T-shirt ordered from subMedia goes toward more End of the World segments. Any time I scrape up $500, I can take the time off from paid gruntwork to produce another exciting episode of the fucking show. hey stim just thought i’d drop you a note to tell you about out up coming action here in(believe it or not) charlotte, nc. i am an artist down here in the bigot belt we have managed to eek out a small little free thinking community of artists. there is a twice monthly gallery crawls and the first one of the spring just happens to fall on april 3rd. with hundreds of pedestrians we are determined to create a social dialog about the atrocities around the world and their direct relationship to the G20. i have gotten access to a digital video projector and will be projecting “Ground Noise and Static”, among other things,on the side of a building in full view of pedestrian traffic. i am also in the process of rounding up some “video ninjas” to take to the street and interview the people and get their opinions. i’ll keep you updated.
