Have a Smashing Good Time for Gaza

Inspiring… The Guardian is reporting that nine people are being held after an early morning break-in and smash fest at the EDO MBM Technology plant in Moulsecoomb, Brighton, East Sussex, which manufactures military components for Israeli war planes being used to bomb Gaza (as well as Lebanon in 2005).

Mark Townsend reports that the group, calling itself Smash EDO, hurled computers and furniture from the windows of the plant. The police are quoted describing the damage as “substantial.”

You can read more about this smashing good time over at The Guardian or The Herald.

This is, frankly, the sort of direct action we will need in America if we are serious about ending the imperial wars of our own so-called rulers, only it must take place on a much larger scale. When the people truly decide that they will tolerate no more wars, the occupation of factories and shipping infrastructure will be key. If you would like to be a part of such a resistance, join us in Lake City.
