The $1.92 Million Playlist

jammiex

The motherfuckers at the RIAA sued Jammie Thomas-Rasset for $1.92 Million for downloading 24 of their worst songs. I won’t go into the details, but if you want to read more click here or here. Regardless of her poor taste in music, homegirl (who is a single mom BTW) did nothng wrong IMO. So in solidarity with her plight, why not download the $1.92 Million playlist yerself.

  • I am totally with you on that. Nothing wrong at all. I said the same thing about info-downloading, info-sharing, etc., especially when it comes to works like Derrick Jensen’s and Daniel Quinn’s. Problem was, Jensen threw me out of his forum for saying it. Wish that weren’t the case. I still tell everyone to read his works, but that was a major disappointment to me.

We can’t save this crazy planet if we stay locked in the prison of whatever the almighty dollar tells us to do, since it’s pretty much dictated what lives and what exists and what gets to happen and what doesn’t. Saving this planet will never be profitable, and can only be slowed down if we do it only through actions that are profitable. I only wished Derrick could’ve seen that, because I meant him no disrespect when I said we should share our message freely to those who cannot pay, and unify in a rebellion that grows beyond just those who have the $20 to buy a book.
