The $1.92 Million Playlist

The motherfuckers at the RIAA sued Jammie Thomas-Rasset for $1.92 Million for downloading 24 of their worst songs. I won’t go into the details, but if you want to read more click here or here. Regardless of her poor taste in music, homegirl (who is a single mom BTW) did nothng wrong IMO. So in solidarity with her plight, why not download the $1.92 Million playlist yerself.

The Revolution will Not be Televised on YouTube

stim_tv_gooThis was bound to happen sooner or later, but now it’s here. YouTube has been “muting” videos that use music by Warner Music Group, and sometimes making them completely unavailable.

This shit happened to me last week:

“Your video, Worldwide Revolts!, may have audio content from The Revolution Will Not Be Televised by Gil Scott-Heron (b. 1949) that is owned or licensed by WMG.”
